Radio

A light-DOM item. Normally hui-radio-group manages these and you never write the class by hand — it is documented so the markup the group renders is not a mystery.

Two items

The checked state is aria-checked on the item, not a class — the markup is the state, per UI-CONTRACT-007. Written on its own, an item is a button with no group and no keyboard model; the element supplies both.
